For over forty years Bloch Lumber has been an efficient distributor of forest products and has contributed to the solution of industry problems through involvement in NAWLA and producer associations.

During the last several decades, environmental concerns have become a major issue for the forest products industry and for the American people. We believe the industry is making a bona fide attempt to address these issues through the use of sustainable forest management practices. These scientifically validated practices are necessary for the long-term ability of our nation to meet its building material needs while adding to the social, environmental and economic needs of our country.

Bloch Lumber fully supports and endorses the forest certification initiatives that will enable the industry to meet these goals in a timely and efficient manner and will fully support and give preference to those companies that join these initiatives. We urge our suppliers, who have not already done so, to become certified and our customers to give preferences to products coming from certified mills.
